Paintball World Cup Asia 2009

Did you know that Kuala Lumpur has hosted the World Cup Asia - the largest paintball event in Asia - five times? This year, 120 teams have registered to compete; these teams come from France, UK, US, Guam, UAE, Iran, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, India, and Malaysia. There's even a waiting list!

Held at the Xtion Paintball Park at Kompleks Sukan Negara, Bukit Jalil, this year's tournament will take place from 19 - 22 November 2009. With international press in tow (ESPN has broadcasted the competition) and sweet cash prizes (ahem, US$10,000 for Division 1 winners!!), you can be assured of some good ol' competition. Kaki Blue Musical @ KLPAC

From 30th July till 16th August 2009, Pentas 1, KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center) will be filled with Malaysian musical extravaganza with the tunes of the all-new Kaki Blue Musical.

Kaki Blue is written by Mark Beau de Silva and involves of some of Malaysia’s film industry personalities such as Director Joe Hasham, Executive Producer Dato’ Faridah Merican and choreographed by Lakshman Balakrishnan.

The musical depicts a group of friends who embark on a journey of character definement and the value of friendship in their adventures in the Malaysian National Service for youths.
